Speech Pathologist
(Exempt position)
I. SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Professional Services, the Speech Pathologists are responsible for providing services to homebound patients who have speech and language problems. The home therapy program is provided under the direction of the attending physician by the speech pathologist with participation from the family, nurse or other responsible persons as necessary.
II. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES
Education:
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
Experience:
Previous speech pathology experience is helpful
Licensure:
Must possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association or be in process.
