Answer To change home health agencies you need to contact your current agency and ask to be discharged. It is your right to choose your own agency.
Question What doesn't Medicare cover for home healthcare?
Answer The following services are not covered by Medicare: sitter services, daily medication assistance, transportation services and errands, and housekeeping services.
Question Who pays for home health?
Answer Home health services can be paid by Medicare, Medicaid and various private insurances.
Question What is a plan of care?
Answer A plan of care is a plan of treatment developed by your doctor, the home health RN and you in order to provide you with the best care possible.
Question Can I still have my primary physician if I have home healthcare?
Answer Of course, you may continue to see your primary physician.
Question How often will I have to see a physician if I'm on home healthcare?
Answer You would need to discuss this with your doctor. Regular MD visits are a must in order for your doctor and nurse to develop an optimal plan of care.

Answer During the admission process the RN will discuss with you the number and schedule of visits.
Question Can I get a maid with home healthcare?
Answer No, we do not offer maid services.
Question What does a Nurse Aide do?
Answer Nurse Aides may assist you with your bathing, dressing and skin care, prepare a light meal such as a bowl of soup or a sandwich, change your bed linens, help you transfer from the bed to chair and shower or tub, assist you with a walk in your home, and open medication bottles – however they may not give you your medications. They may also straighten your special area (around the chair you sit in most of the time or your bedroom) but they are not allowed to clean your house.
Question How do I reach a Nurse after hours?
Answer Call the number on your admit folder. There is a registered nurse available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Question How many times a week do we come?
Answer During the admission process the RN will discuss with you the number and schedule of visits.
Question Does your Company provide hospice?
Answer No, but we can send a MSW to help get these services for you.
Question Does your Company have provider services such as cooking and housecleaning?
Answer No, but we can send a MSW to help get these services for you.
Question What services does your agency provide?
Answer Home Care Network provides RNs, and LVNs for nursing care, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, medical social services and home health aide services.
