Rufus F. Johnson, Sr. – Vice President of Risk Management Mr. Johnson has studied and tested for the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He has more than 24 years of experience as a human resources manager, having served as the Human Resource Business Partner for the Enserch Corporation and Lone Star Gas Company for 14 year and the Human Resource Business Partner and HR Manager for the TXU-Electric Delivery Corporation for more than 10 years, during which he was responsible for more than 7,000 employees and a budget of more than $54 million. Mr. Johnson has an extensive background in office management, engineering, leadership, pharmacy and medical training combined with human resources in the field of home health care, and he has more than 40 years of experience in high-level leadership and motivational communication. He has developed, coordinated, facilitated and implemented training for the management team that focuses on supervision, team work, performance management, corporate strategies, discipline, coaching, mentoring, managing, and avoiding legal pitfalls. He has also developed matrix models and templates for investigations, effective communication, conflict resolution, core values, corporate culture, and respect in the workplace. He counsels, advises and makes recommendations to decrease risk and liability and develops strategies to maximize the human capital, as well as working closely with the owners in the day-to-day operations. Mr. Johnson holds a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Abilene Christian University and has attended Jarvis Christian College of TCU, Brook General Medical School, Addison State University, Preston Road School of Preaching, and Universal Bible Institute.
James M. "Mac" Fulbright, CPA – Accountant Mr. Fulbright has more than twenty-five years of accounting, financial and managerial experience. Since joining the company in August 2005, Mr. Fulbright has assisted the CEO in the implementation of accounting and related fiscal policies, procedures and regulations. He is responsible for guiding both daily and long-term operations and financial planning as well as implementing the CEO’s development plans, ensuring adequate cash controls, and overseeing the budgetary process.
Prior to joining Home Care Management, Mr. Fulbright provided various financial services to individuals and small businesses through his private practice. His wide range of business experience also includes positions with Fortune 500 companies and an international public accounting firm, as well as serving as the controller of a small business. Mr. Fulbright’s position as the Benefits Accounting Manager for Valhi, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, included coordinating the investment management of a $100 million retirement trust with a number of outside investment managers. His primary responsibilities as a supervisor with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young were consulting with small businesses on accounting and tax issues, including individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary and estate returns.
Mr. Fulbright has been a CPA since 1984. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and holds an MBA in Accounting from Almeda University. Mr. Fulbright has been honored in the listing of “International Who’s Who of Entrepreneurs,” “Who’s Who in Finance and Industry” and “Outstanding Young Men in America.”
